Two Rockland High Schoolers Honored for Raising $26,000 to Battle Cancer

Two Rockland County high schoolers were honored earlier this month as “Students of the Year” for helping raise money to fight cancer. Michele Lippin, Campaign Manager of the regional chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, says Dylan Goldstein of Tappan Zee High School and Owen Shaw from Nyack High School raised $26,000 for LLS during a seven-week competition. Lippin says for their efforts, they earned the society’s “Citizenship Award for Community Service”…
