A homeless man pleaded guilty last week to the stabbing death of his mother in Yonkers last year. Westchester’s District Attorney says 29 year-old Andre Coverdale faces 25 years in prison after admitting to first degree manslaughter. Dawne McCray died of multiple stab wounds to her face and neck. Coverdale will be sentenced in May.
