St. Patrick’s Parade Kicks off Sunday in Pearl River

It’s been a Rockland tradition since 1963. The annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Pearl River kicks off on Sunday. The Grand Marshal of this year’s parade is Emmett Woods, a Pearl River resident who started his own construction company in 1990 and opened “Emmett Mahoney’s Irish Pub & Restaurant” in Poughkeepsie in 2004. The parade route begins at the Pfizer parking lot, turns onto East Crooked Hill Road and heads up to North Middletown Road southbound, then turns right onto East Central Avenue and ends near the Pearl River Post Office.
