Sheriff: Death of Corrections Officer Ruled “Apparent Suicide”

The death of a Rockland Corrections officer involved in a car crash in Woodbury last November and found with a gunshot wound to the head has been labeled “an apparent suicide.” Sheriff Lou Falco told “The Morning Show” yesterday that the the State Police investigation into the death of 42 year-old Frank Farina of Stony Point came to that conclusion…

Police say Farina was driving on Route 6 in Woodbury when his car crossed the double yellow line and struck a rock embankment. His wife, 42 year-old Jennifer Farina, was a passenger in the car at the time and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
