11th Annual Penguin Plunge Hits Nyack’s Memorial Park Sunday

The 11th annual Penguin Plunge will be held this Sunday after being
cancelled last weekend due to last Friday’s storm. It’ll take place in
Nyack in Memorial Park along the Hudson River. This year’s beneficiaries
are seven year-old Sebastian Scully of Valley Cottage and five-year-old
Elle Fishman of Piermont. Penguin Plunge Executive director and co-founder
Barbara Noyes says Sebastian suffers from a rare chronic inflammatory
disease that currently has no cure, and Elle has an underdeveloped
cerebellum. Noyes says even if you don’t plunge, there’s stuff for you to
enjoy and help support the cause…

The Penguin Plunge takes place at Nyack Memorial Park Sunday from noon to
2 PM, “The Plunge” itself will occur at 1:30 and there’ll be music and
