A sporting goods retail chain with locations in West Nyack, White Plains and elsewhere in the area has announced it will no longer sell assault-style rifles and asked lawmakers to pass “common sense gun reform.” In a tweet yesterday, the CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods said the company would also take high-capacity magazines off their shelves and would raise the minimum age to purchase firearms to 21.
