New Windsor Woman Pleads Guilty to Stealing $1 million from Darien BMW Dealership

Connecticut federal prosecutors say 50 year-old Vanessa Vence-Small of New Windsor pleaded guilty last week to embezzling more than a million dollars from a Darien BMW car dealership where she was employed. Officials say Vence-Small transferred money to her personal account and used the dealership’s bank account to pay for work at her home. She is free on $100,000 bond pending sentencing in May, when she faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, $2.3 million in fines and full restitution.
