A 35-year-old Washington Heights man faces DWI, reckless endangerment and reckless driving charges after he reportedly drove the wrong way on the Bronx River Parkway Friday morning, crashing head-on into an oncoming car. Published reports say seven people were injured in the crash that closed the roadway for hours. The incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. when a car driven by Diego Caceres was traveling south on the northbound side of the Bronx River Parkway near the Sprain Brook Parkway split. No word on the extent of the injuries.
