Ramapo Takes Religious School with Code Violations to Court

Ramapo is taking a harder stance against religious schools that are operating illegally in town. Ramapo officials went to Supreme Court in New City Friday to shut down an all-girls religious school on Route 306 in Monsey that they say has numerous code violations and is endangering the-more-than 300 students there. The school reportedly had water and electrical issues, damaged floors and ceilings, and excessive garbage in hallways. School administrators are expected to be in court today.
