Rockland lawmakers have teamed up to offer free flu shots to Rockland County residents who want one. State senator David Carlucci, and Assembly members Ken Zebrowski and Ellen Jaffee said they are available for free today at the Nyack Center from 10am-12 noon. You can also get a shot at the Nanuet Library on Thursday from 2-4 in the afternoon. Health officials say it’s not too late to get the shot as the flu has done some serious damage this winter. Federal health officials have said this year’s flu season is the worst in about a decade.
