A potentially large ratable for the town of Stony Point continues to slowly make its way through the approval process. But so far, Orangetown’s new supervisor isn’t as concerned about the proposed “waste-to-fuel” facility as his predecessor was. Andy Stewart had expressed concern that the plant slated for Stony Point would increase truck traffic on Route 9W through Orangetown.
