New HiTor Shelter to Remain in Pomona

But County Executive Ed Day told “The Morning Show” Friday the shelter won’t be moving from its location near the Fire Training Center in Pomona. Its central location makes it convenient for the local municipalities that issue dog licenses and saves them from needing their own shelter facility…

The County Executive signed the two resolutions last week to bond $1.2 million to build the new Hi Tor Animal Care Center. The Center got a $500,000 increase in this year’s budget, and with donations and grant money, they’re close to the $2 million they need to build a new facility.
