Negotiations are reportedly set to continue today between the union that represents 400-plus employees at Indian Point and the plant’s owner. The contract with the Utility Workers Union of America Local 1-2 expired last week, talks came to a screeching halt early Saturday. Published reports said the union wants a collective bargaining agreement with Entergy that would extend through the plant’s scheduled closure in 2021.
