The installation of weather-stripping at all attic stairwells and access openings provides for tighter insulation. Make sure you close all hot air vents or radiators in unused rooms. Also, never use a gas oven or range, or charcoal grill, to heat a room. It could release carbon monoxide and that could prove fatal.
