Clarkstown PBA and Town Reach Contract Agreement

The town of Clarkstown and the Clarkstown PBA have agreed on a new contract, creating a new five-year deal covering 2018 through 2022. Supervisor George Hoehmann says the new agreement features a wage increase about three-quarters of a percent lower than any other recently-negotiated PBA contract in the county. The agreement also cuts in half the amount of compensatory time Police Officers are entitled to accumulate, from 480 hours to 240. PBA Vice President Pete Walker called the contract “a fair and equitable agreement.”
