Be Prepared for Scams This Holiday Season

Scam artists seem to be working overtime this holiday season. Clarkstown Police recently reported an unidentified Congers man had been conned out of $1,000 in the Nanuet Costco parking lot by a man who claimed he couldn’t return to Italy with brand name designer coats. The coats, of course, turned out to be counterfeits.
