Former Ramapo Supervisor Chris St. Lawrence could find out his fate today when he’s in court for the continuation of a pre-sentencing hearing regarding investor losses that began late last month. St. Lawrence’s attorneys want probation, while prosecutors have asked for up to 14 years in prison. St. Lawrence was found guilty last May on 20 counts of fraud and conspiracy. If Monday’s testimony wraps up early enough, the sentencing could get underway later that day. Sentencing for former Ramapo assistant town attorney Aaron Troodler has been rescheduled for January second.
