Report: Spring Valley Trustee Co-defendant Acquitted Two Weeks Ago Charged with Harassing Mayor

Less than two weeks after she was acquitted of stealing thousands of dollars from the village of Spring Valley, convicted trustee Vilair Fonvil’s co-defendant has been charged with harassing the mayor.  Following Tuesday’s board of Trustees meeting, according to the Journal News, Jermika Depas was arrested on charges of striking the Mayor. Fonvil faces prison after being convicted of stealing about $11,000 from a village summer camp program run by Depas, who blamed Delhomme for the situation. Depas was charged with violation counts of second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct.
