Clarkstown’s Ward 2 race has been settled. The Journal News reported Judge Gerald Loehr certified the results last week after challenges to absentee and affidavit ballots, making Republican candidate Peter Bradley the winner over incumbent Democrat Daniel Caprara by a mere 12 votes. Republicans have a 3-2 Town Council majority. Ward 2 covers Congers, Valley Cottage, Upper Nyack and part of New City.
