The Hungry Hollow Road Thruway overpass in Chestnut Ridge has been partially reopened following the completion of emergency repairs. It reopened Wednesday to alternating one-way traffic, including traffic lights to control the flow of vehicles using the bridge. Pedestrians can also use a four-foot shoulder on the east side of the bridge, which was damaged in October when a truck traveling on the Thruway crashed into it.
