The Clarkstown Police Department is mourning the sudden passing of one of their own. 52 year-old Detective Frederick Parent of New City passed away Monday night after a brief illness. Detective Parent became an expert in solving fraud and credit card crimes. He is survived by his wife and three children. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
