Last month county executive Ed Day blasted Ramapo for allowing the school to open in temporary trailers without a water source, its own electricity, a functioning fire hydrant and with ongoing construction close by. The town said it was okayed by the state monitor. The Ateres Bais Yaakov Academy is renting the space for $25-hundred a week, plus cleaning fees on top of a $10,000 deposit for some 400 or so students.
