And speaking of water, Cornell also praised new legislation recently signed by Governor Cuomo that allows the DEC to set guidelines for petroleum-bearing vessels that want to use the Hudson River. Between those boats and all the activity around the demolition of the Tappan Zee Bridge, and boaters looking for spectacular views of the fall foliage, Rockland Sheriff Lou Falco says his team is keeping pretty busy on the Hudson, but things have been running pretty smoothly…
