“Water Conservation and Sustainable Landscapes” Discussion in West Nyack Wednesday

The lack of rain has some folks, especially Steve, concerned about water conservation and best management practices. Good thing the folks at the Rockland Water Task Force and Cornell Cooperative Extension are concerned, too. They’re hosting a panel discussion tomorrow at the West Nyack library, and CCE’s Mike Wilson, who hosts the “Storm Water Consortium Program” here on WRCR, says proper landscape management can have a major impact on the water supply…

The event is designed for homeowners but professional landscapers are welcome as well. The “Water Conservation and Sustainable Landscapes” discussion is free and is being held Wednesday at the West Nyack library from 7 pm to 9 pm.
