He replaces former chief Michael Sullivan who was fired last month by the town board in a 3-2 party-line vote. The firing came after a hearing officer found him guilty of disciplinary charges made against him last summer. The ceremony takes place tonight at 7pm at town hall. The public is invited to attend.
