Legoland Gains Another Approval in Goshen

The Legoland project in Goshen has cleared a significant hurdle and is nearing full approval. The Hudson Valley Business Journal reported the town board voted 4-1 and approved amendments to its comprehensive plan and zoning law to allow for the $500 million project. Additional approvals are still needed but for now Merlin Entertainment is targeting 2019 to open the 153-acre amusement park. It’s expected to feature a 250-room hotel, and more than 50 rides, shows and attractions designed for kids up to age 12. It would be the third Legoland in North America.
