Camden Man Indicted for Having 31 Pounds of Synthetic Opioid

A 22 year-old Camden man has reportedly been busted with enough of the drug that killed Prince, to create more than five million lethal doses, enough to wipe out half the state of New Jersey. That’s according to the state’s attorney general, whose office indicted Yahmire Boardley for having 31 pounds of the synthetic opioid fentanyl, which is 50 times more potent than heroin. Boardley was arrested in March and is reportedly under pretrial monitoring. Prosecutors wanted Boardley detained, but the judge denied the request. A court date for the arraignment has not yet been set.
