A Spring Valley man was charged with felony DWI after reportedly crashing his truck Sunday night into a utility pole on Old Nyack Turnpike west of Kennedy Drive in Chestnut Ridge. The accident brought down wires and the 34 year-old driver, Wojciech Niespodziewanski, had to be extricated from the truck. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was treated and released to police custody. He was arraigned in Chestnut Ridge Justice Court and released after posting $5,000 bail.
