The Westchester County Department of Health has found its first batch of mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus. The affected area in Mount Vernon has been inspected and treated by the Health Department to protect against more mosquito breeding there. Last month, West Nile was detected in mosquitoes in Rockland County.
