Yonkers Man Arrested in Alleged “Road Rage” Incident

A Yonkers man was arrested on a felony assault charge over the weekend stemming from an alleged road rage incident on the Saw Mill River Parkway. 44 year-old Freddy Hernandez is accused of striking a man in the head with a bottle. The unidentified victim was taken to St. John’s Riverside Hospital, he got stitches and was released. Hernandez was reportedly one of seven people who became involved in a fight after one car cut off another and a dispute spilled out onto the parkway. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. He was arraigned in White Plains City Court and released on his own recognizance.
