Police Search for Van Involved in Accident, Possible Drug Deal Gone Bad

A man with multiple gunshot wounds and injuries possibly from being struck by a car may have been part of a drug deal gone bad. The man reportedly jumped out of a moving van on I-95 north between Exit 18B and 19 during Tuesday evening’s rush hour. State police say the van was involved in an accident with another car. Police are looking for a GMC U-Haul van with Arizona license plates and possible front-end damage. 24-year-old Mouhamed Cisse of the Bronx suffered serious injuries including the gunshot wounds. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where he reportedly remains in critical condition. If you witnessed the incident or may have information about it, please contact State police at 914-769-2600.
