School Bus Driver Ticketed for Passing Stopped School Bus in Ramapo

A school bus driver was issued a ticket yesterday by Ramapo police for passing another school bus that had been stopped with its flashing red signals on. The incident occurred yesterday morning on West Eckerson Road. The officer instructed the school bus driver to pull over. Instead, police say, the driver ignored the officer and continued driving. The officer pulled the bus over, and issued the summons. Police say it was the 67^th time this year that a driver has been ticketed for that infraction.
