Mamaroneck Woman Struck, Killed on I-95 in Bridgeport

A Mamaroneck woman who was tending to a child in the back seat of her car while on I-95 in Bridgeport was killed after police say she was “sideswiped” by another car passing her. Connecticut State Police said 31-year-old Enma Torres had stopped partially in the right shoulder of an on-ramp to I-95 southbound late Saturday night. The car also hit the rear driver side door of Torres’ car. She died at Bridgeport Hospital. No other injuries were reported. The case is under investigation.
