Police: Ramapo Road Rage Victim, 3 Month-Old Boy, Dies

The three month-old boy critically injured in last month’s road rage incident in Ramapo died early Wednesday morning at Westchester Medical Center. The D-A is reportedly considering upgraded charges for the man being held in the county jail for the incident. 62 year-old Albert Gomez of Spring Valley was reportedly angered after being cut off by a cab. After an exchange, Gomez drove on the shoulder around the cab, striking the family that had been walking on westbound shoulder of Route 59 near Robert Pitt Drive in Monsey. The boy’s mother and sisters are still recovering in Westchester. The accident is still under investigation.
