An Orange County man was hit with 44 charges of dog fighting last week, a combination of felonies and misdemeanors. 48 year-old Dominick Barizone of Crawford was arraigned in Queens and released on $25,000 bail. Police searched Barizone’s property in Middletown and found 19 pit bulls and other evidence of dog-fighting. If convicted, Barizone faces up to four years in prison.
