Monroe Judge from New City Arrested, Charged with Lying, Filing False Documents

(Audio) A Monroe judge was arrested Wednesday accused of lying to bank and law enforcement officers to hide the fact that she actually lives in New City, instead of Monroe. The U.S Attorneys office accuses Town Justice Lurlyn Winchester of faking a lease and rent checks two years ago to make the mortgage lender believe she and her husband were planning to rent out their New City home.
