Heroin Usage Up; Narcan Training Session Scheduled for Creole Speakers

Narcan is an antidote that can reverse the effects of opioids, including heroin and prescription pain pills. The county is hosting a training session June 14th designed for those who speak Creole. For more information call the Konbit Neg Lakay Community Center at 845-425-4623. Future training sessions are being planned for Jewish and Spanish-speaking communities.
