$800 Million up for Grabs

(Audio clip) Round seven of the New York State Regional Economic Development Council’s annual competition for more than $800 million in state economic development resources opens today. The Consolidated Funding Application, or CFA, lets businesses, municipalities, not-for-profits and members of the public apply for assistance from dozens of state programs using a single application. Since the initiative began in 2011, more than $4.6 billion have been awarded to more than 5,200 projects, creating and keeping more than 210,000 jobs statewide.
