Day 4: Chris St. Lawrence Trial

It was day four in the Chris St. Lawrence fraud and corruption trial Wednesday in U.S. District Court in White Plains. The Journal News reported that Rockland Boulders president Ken Lehner considered St. Lawrence a “visionary” who helped bring the ball park to town. He described St. Lawrence as a champion of the project from the start when the team was first conceived 11 years ago. The Journal News said Lehner testified St. Lawrence never wrote things down during meetings. When he asked him about that, Lehner testified St. Lawrence said that “can lead to a paper trail, and a paper trail cannot be good.” St. Lawrence faces 22 counts of wire and securities fraud and other charges.
