With about two dozen charges hanging over his head ranging from insubordination to improper surveillance operations, suspended Clarkstown Police Chief Michael Sullivan returned to court yesterday for a disciplinary hearing to answer the accusations leveled against him by town supervisor George Hoehmann. A special prosecutor reportedly questioned Sullivan over various emails. Sullivan has called the charges a witch-hunt orchestrated by the supervisor, and Sullivan has launched his own campaign for the supervisor’s job. The hearing is expected to continue on Thursday.
