Sexual assault and its impact is the subject of a special event at RCC later this month. “Sexual Abuse: A Survivor’s Story” is a short video created by RCC Graphic Design student Cristina Torres. The video, which features artwork created by a survivor of sexual assault and relationship violence, will be shown to those in attendance. The event is being held next Thursday, April 20th, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at RCC’s Cultural Arts Center Atrium. The event is free and open to the public, and it’s part of RCC’s observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
