Morris Plains, New Jersey Feels Minor Earthquake

On Saturday, residents of Morris Plains, New Jersey were met with an unusual experience. According to the United States Geological Survey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.3 could be felt in the Morris Plains area at 5:44 P.M. Residents described the experience as if it were a truck going by. Officials said that no emergency protocols were enacted and authorities did not have to respond to any related calls.  (Source: NorthJersey)
