Aaron Troodler Pleads Guilty to Ramapo Finance Scheme

On Tuesday, The former executive director of the Ramapo Local Development Corporation pleaded guilty to his involvement in a scheme to finance the Rockland Boulder’s Stadium as well as other projects. 42-year-old Aaron Troodler admitted to conspiring with Ramapo Town Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence to defraud investors in municipal bonds issued by RLDC and the town. Troodler’s sentencing is scheduled for September of this year and it is not totally clear whether he will testify against St. Lawrence. The case against Ramapo Town Supervisor St. Lawrence is still pending; he has entered a not guilty plea.  (Source: LoHud)
