Officer Brian Lennon, one of the surviving police officers involved in the 1981 Brinks Robbery, has passed away. Lennon was one of the officers who correctly indicated the getaway van that was attempting its escape. He was forced to retire from the Nyack police department in the 1990’s due to hearing loss suffered in the shootout. Lennon is survived by his wife Mariel and their two sons Brian and Craig; He was 64 years old. (Source: LoHud)
