The saga continues in the ongoing disciplinary hearing for the suspended Clarkstown Police chief. Michael Sullivan testified for the first time on Wednesday and said that he had hired a private firm to retrieve data he deleted from his town-issued iPhone. While under oath, Sullivan also stated that the deleted data was not pertinent to his disciplinary charges and that no one had told him he couldn’t delete the data. Other officers, who testified, stated that they disagreed with Sullivan’s view on the deletion of data from department phones. The hearing will resume Monday morning at Town Hall. (Source: LoHud)
