Former Clarkstown Police Officer Receives Favorable Ruling

A former Clarkstown police officer received a favorable ruling in a dispute with the town over his retirement date. Officer Robert Lynn was on the job back in 2012 when he fell twice. As a result of the falls, he suffered arm injuries and could not work. He was then forced to use all his accumulated leave time, after the town refused his initial request for disability benefits. The judge officially ruled that Lynn is owed $185,000 dollars in back pay and must be paid by March 9th.  (Source: LoHud)
