Two Clarkstown Properties to be Added to State/National Registers

Last week, Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski announced that Traphagen Estate and Cropsey Farm will be added to the State and National Registers of Historical Places. Once the properties are recommended, the Commissioner of Parks must approve the nomination, after which, the State then forwards the nomination to the Keeper of the National Register for review and approval. In a statement released by George Hoehmann, the Supervisor dubbed the properties, “the historic jewels of Clarkstown.”
