The Polar Plunge went off without a hitch in Stony Point on Sunday. The annual plunge is a fundraiser designed to raise money for children with life threatening conditions. This year’s polar plunge raised donations for 10-year-old Angela Hicks, 14-year-old Aiyanna Faria, and 18-year-old Aris Gomez. The crowd rushed the frigid Hudson water shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Besides accepting regular donations, the event also donates all proceeds from raffle and t shirt sales. (Source: LoHud)
