Suspended Police Chief’s Attempt to Delay Hearing Fails

This week, Suspended Clarkstown Police Chief Michael Sullivan’s attempt to delay his disciplinary hearing has been denied by a State Supreme Court Justice. Sullivan has denied the charges and was attempting to delay the disciplinary hearing so the courts could settle his lawsuit against the town first. The suspended chief claims that the 22 charges arose after he fired a police sergeant who allegedly helped bankroll Supervisor George Hoehmann’s campaign. The Police Chief has been suspended with pay since July of last year.    (Source: LoHud)
