Nor’easter Hits Lower Hudson Valley; Less Rain Than Expected

The nor’easter that hit the Lower Hudson Valley overnight was not as powerful as originally expected. Rockland County saw slick road conditions but overall few school delays. Meanwhile, Northern Westchester and Putnam counties saw more than 1,000 residents without power this morning. The town of Lewisboro in Westchester saw the most power outages in the area.  All of Putnam County’s public schools are closed today, while several schools in Westchester and Rockland opened late.   (Source: LoHud)
